Will anyone else be doing space-related stuff at the Cambridge Science Festival this year? I'll be there with Cambridge University Spaceflight on March 16th.

I'll be giving a public lecture on 'Space Tourism: Risks & Rewards' on the 13th.

Do you know what time that is or where? I'd like to hear it.
Thanks.

Doh, I should have logged on more regularly. I might have gone along and could have done something with the East Anglian Rocketry Society (EARS) / United Kingdom Rocketry Association (UKRA) display stand.

Is the event at the same time next year and would a small stand promoting model rocketry be of interest to the organisers?

EARS fly rockets from a launch site just west of Cambridge.

The science festival will be at a similar time next year. They have a website somewhere, so you can contact them and ask. They're generally keen for extra volunteers of stuff.

I hope to be at the next EARS launch - I flew my first rocket at the last one and it was great fun.
